PURPOSE:To enable a very-slow stable voyage for a long time with a trawling device of such a type as to supply low-set trawling pressure through a hydraulic clutch in trawling operation, by providing a brake behind the hydraulic clutch. CONSTITUTION:In a deceleration reversing machine, the casing 7 of a forward clutch 11 in which a hydraulic piston 6 is inserted is fitted on an input shaft 2 and pressurized oil Pt is supplied to the rear of the piston 6 to bring friction plates 9 in pressure contact with each other to transmit motive power to a forward pinion 8. A hydraulic brake 13 for braking an output shaft 3 for transmitting motive power to a propeller is provided at a part of the output shaft 3 behind a backward clutch on a backward shaft (not shown in the drawing) supported beside the input shaft 2 and the forward clutch 11. The brake 13 is operated by a brake cylinder 22 to which the oil pressure Pt for operating the clutch 11 is applied in such a direction as to oppose braking oil pressure Ps.
