AUTOMATICALLY IMPARTING OF REAGENT AND REGULAR CAPACITY TYPE PUMP AND PIPETTE CHIP TAKEOFF DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To sample various reagents while avoiding mutual contamination and to load the sample in a cuvet by employing pipet chips individually for respective reagents and holding a pipet chip on each reagent bottle. CONSTITUTION: A suction arm is shifted to the position of a selected bottle along X, Y and Z axes and engaged with a pipet chip located in the cap 32 of bottle. Reagent is then sucked and a chip 20 is taken out from the reagent bottle. It is performed by placing the chip 20 in a cuvet selected without passing over any other reagent bottle or unselected cuvet and then discharging the reagent into the cuvet. Subsequently, the pipet chip is returned to the cap of bottle before the suction arm is transferred to next reagent. The process is repeated and reagent of different kind are loaded into same cuvet or one or a plurality of kinds of reagent is loaded into a series of cuvet.
