PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a discharge electrode and the breakage of a lightning protecting insulator and suspension insulator strings when a power transmission line is swayed to the perpendicular direction to the transmission line by the wind pressure or the like by curvedly forming the discharge electrode on the charging side so as to detour the suspension insulator strings on the lightning protecting insulator side with a base end section, an intermediate section and a discharge section. CONSTITUTION:A discharge electrode 10 on the charging side is supported on one side of a connecting yoke 6, it is constituted of a base end section 10a fixed by a nut through the connecting yoke 6 and extended in parallel with a power transmission line 9, an intermediate section 10b folded in the perpendicular direction to the transmission line from the base end section 10a, and a discharge section 10c folded nearly in parallel with the transmission line direction from the intermediate section 10b. When the power transmission line 9 is swayed outward to the perpendicular direction to the transmission line from the stationary position by the wind pressure or the like and a suspension insulator string 4 on the outside is bent, the collision between the discharge electrode 10 on the charging side and the suspension insulator string 4 is avoided.
