ORGANIC SOLID SUBSTANCE WET FINE GRINDING METHOD AND RECORDING BODY COATED WITH ORGANIC SOLID SUBSTANCE FINE PARTICLE WATER DISPERSION

PURPOSE:To conduct a fine grinding by a sand mill with an improved efficiency by incorporating a specific polyvinyl alcohol and at least one of methyl celluloses in a water dispersion of an organic solid substance. CONSTITUTION:In the wet fine grinding of a water dispersion of an organic solid substance by a sand mill, a polyvinyl alcohol which forms a 0.1% water solution at 20 deg.C having a surface tension of 63dyne/cm or less and has a polymerization degree of 500 or more and at least one of methyl celluloses are incorporated in said organic solid substance water dispersion. The specific polyvinyl alcohol is preferably added in the range of 0.2 - 10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the organic solid substance, and especially the addition amount ranging 1.0 - 5pts.wt. is preferable. On the other hand, the methyl celluloses to be used in combination is desirably added in the range of 0.05 - 50pts.wt. per 1pts.wt. of the specific polyvinyl alcohol, and particularly the addition amount ranging 0.5 - 5pts.wt. is suitable.
