摘要

PURPOSE:To keep the ignition performance at low temps. for a long period by depositing a catalyst component contg. palladium and platinum on a monolithic carrier to form a combustion catalyst for methane fuel. CONSTITUTION:A catalytic substance contg. palladium, platinum, and nickel as the active catalytic component is deposited on a monolithic carrier coated with at least one kind of an active refractory metallic oxide selected from a group of alumina, titania, and zirconia to manufacture a combustion catalyst for methane fuel. The active catalytic component is preferably composed of 2-300g palladium per liter of the product catalyst, 0.1-50wt%, based on the palladium, platinum, and 5-300g nickel oxide. The catalyst can be optimally incorporated into a gas-turbine system for generation of electric power.
