There are disclosed novel oxamic acid esters substituted on the nitrogen atom and corresponding to the formula I IMAGE (I) the production thereof, their use for controlling pests, and pesticidal compositions containing these oxamic acid esters as active ingredients. A preferred field of application is the control of pests on animals and plants, particularly of eggs and larvae of phytophagous insect pests and mites.
