This invention solves the adjustment of the conditions of opium alkaloids isolation from poppy material water or water-alcoholic extracts. The purpose is accomplished by having freed the poppy material extract from any secondary substances in an absorption manner by adding alkalic metals and alkalic soils aluminosilicates, or by ultrafiltration through membranes of MG 1,000 to 5,000 of permeability. After the alkaloids are isolated on an ionex, the effluent is treated so as to have a Ph between 3.0 to 5.00, and returns back to the extraction of poppy material, and the alkaloids are isolated from the ion exchanger.
