The solution concerns the quick tests for detection and determination of hydrogen peroxide and substances that react in the process of formation of hydrogen peroxide and peroxidically active substances and lies in the fact that they contain 3,3', 5,5'- tetraalkyl benzidine of the general formula 9 as an active chromogenic substance where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or non-identical and stand for lower alkyl groups with 1 to 6 carbon atoms and with a linear or branched chain.
