The principle of the connection of a common fuel consumption measuring device for automatic measuring of fuel consumption of combustion engines, mainly in engine test plants consisting of a control unit, electrically controlled valves, piping network, a weight consumption meter, program control systems of test stations and of electrics is based on the fact that the first output of the control unit connected to the program system of the first engine and the program system of the second engine is electrically connected with the first valve of direct fuel supply from the tank to the first engine, the second output of the control unit is electrically connected with the second valve of direct fuel supply from the tank to the second engine, the third output of the control unit is electrically connected with the first valve of the measured supply from the weight consumption meter to the first engine and the fourth output of the control unit is electrically connected with the second valve of the measured supply from the weight consumption meter to the second engine, where the control unit is also electrically connected with the weight consumption meter output and input and where the weight consumption meter is interconnected by means of an intake with the tank. Such a measuring device connection can be used mainly for the automatic measuring of consumption of engines in engine test plants, or for measuring fuel consumption in multi-engine ships and for measuring fuel consumption of linked stationary engines etc.IMAGE
