The invention relates to a process for the production of foods of animal origin with increased nutritional and dietetic properties. The invention describes a process for the production of dietetic high-quality foods of animal origin using a combination effect of various proteins and lipid carrier substances in rations of livestock, with special consideration of the use of alkane yeast in pig fattening. The aim of the inventive method is the production of food of animal origin, which are enriched with polyene fatty acids and have a high nutritional physiological value. When n-alkane yeasts are used, there is at the same time a saving in imports.
