The childbirth support is for a woman giving birth in the hunched position. It has a footrest (2) with sloping surfaces (1) supporting the feet at right angles to the shins, and a loin support (3) secured to the footrest. Wedge-shaped cushions (4) can be provided between the thighs and shins, and also hand supports (5) either side of the footrest at the front.
