The footrest (20) has a supporting surface (21) for supporting feet of an occupant, where the supporting surface is arranged on rear side of another supporting surface (22). The supporting surfaces are arranged at different distances from a floor (26) of a motor car, on which the footrest is placed. Distance between the former supporting surface and a corner (24) of a circulating frame (23) facing the former supporting surface, and distance between the latter supporting surface and another corner (25) of the frame facing the latter supporting surface are different from each other.
