The water-drainage system is for the frame of a vehicle sliding roof, having one or more metal drainpipes for the gutter formed by the frame and passing through the latter. The pipe (15) has near one end (14) a thickened portion (16) bearing against the edge of the opening in the frame (10). This end is inserted through the end and shaped by machine so as to fix it to the latter.
