A hinged multi-die extruder head 4 for the production of treads, having flow channel inserts 13, 14, 15 which are easy to clean and exchange, is presented. The movable design of the inserts in the direction of the die outlet by means of hydraulically, pneumatically or mechanically actuable pushrods 12, which are detachably fixed to the inserts, ensures that the inserts 13, 14, 15 can be moved into a position which allows unhindered access to all sides of the inserts and rapid exchanging.
