SLUDGE-SUCTION AND HIGH-PRESSURE-FLUSHING VEHICLE FOR CLEANING SEWER DUCTS OR THE LIKE

A sludge-suction and high-pressure-flushing vehicle with water recovery comprises a tank 4 with a chamber 3 for sludge, with an intermediate chamber 2 for water, and with a clear-water chamber 1. A displaceable piston 5 separates the sludge chamber 3 from the intermediate chamber 2. A high-pressure pump 34 delivers the clear water into the sewer duct which is to be cleaned, and a vacuum pump 41 with changeover valves 42, 43 for negative pressure or positive pressure is provided for acting on each of the three chambers 1, 2, 3 individually. A suction hose 14 on an extension arm 13 is used to deliver a sludge/water mixture out of the sewer duct into the negative-pressure sludge chamber 3. Filters 11, 18; 19, 36 are provided either in connecting lines 7, 8 routed outside the chambers 1, 2, 3 or directly in the piston 5 and in the partition wall 6. The last-mentioned filters 19, 36 comprise an axial connection stub 38 with a closure cover 40 which can be displaced axially via hydraulics or pneumatic cylinders 37 and bears a retractable and extensible screen or the like which butts against the inner wall of the connection stub.
