Reactor (R) containing an entrained fluidised bed, vertical and of elongate shape, comprising at a first end a member (1) for introducing a gaseous fluidising fluid, a member (2) for introducing solid particles and, at the opposite end a member for removing the reaction effluents, solid particles and the various fluids introduced into the reactor and which comprises a member for controlling the flow of solid particles, downstream of the member for introducing the said particles, comprising a stationary part (3) and a movable part (5) comprising a vertical rod which penetrates one of the ends of the reactor and a part (4) fixed integrally to the rod, adapted to interact with the stationary part (3) so as to control the flow of solid particles downstream of the said controlling member and comprising at least one member (6) for introducing at least one fluid feed, positioned in the vicinity of the said member for controlling the flow of solid particles and downstream of the said member (2) for introducing the said solid particles.
