Process for the preparation of polycondensation products from alkoxylated fatty amines, diols and aliphatic dicarboxylic acids

There is described a process for the production of polycondensation compounds of an oxyalkylated primary fatty amine, a diol and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, wherein an oxyalkylated primary fatty amine and a diol with an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid is reacted in the presence of a catalyst, as a catalyst, an organometallic compound of a metal is used of the titanium group and, in addition, optionally, a solvent for the catalyst and a mineral acid or sulfonic acid. The new process significantly shorter reaction times are achieved in the esterification reaction in question compared to the prior art.
