Synergistic compositions of renal dopaminergic agent and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors

Compositions useful for improving kidney function and treating hypertension are comprised of a 6-halo-7,8-­dihydroxy-1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-3-­benzazepine combined with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, advantageously captopril. Preferably the compositions are administered orally.
