2-Mercapto-5-pyrimidyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives with a nematocidal and fungicidal activity

2-Mercapto-5-pyrimidyl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles and 2-mercapto- 5-pyrimidyl-1,3,4-thiadiazoles of the formula IMAGE in which X denotes oxygen or sulphur R' denotes halogen, CF3, C1-C3-alkyl, C1-C3-alkoxy, C1-C3-alkylthio or cyclopropyl and n denotes a number from 0 to 3, R2 denotes hydrogen, C1-C5-alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C1-C3-alkoxy or cyano; C3-C7-alkenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen; or C3-C7-alkynyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, and processes for the preparation of the compounds of the formula I are described. The compounds of the formula I have nematicidal and fungicidal properties. Nematicidal and fungicidal agents which, as active compounds, contain at least one active compound of the formula I, and in addition processes for the use of the active compounds and the agents for controlling nematodes or fungi are described.
