The invention relates to a device enabling mortars or other products to be rapidly deposited and without loss on to a support (1) while giving them optimum characteristics, comprising a hopper (3), characterised in that it is equipped with means, in order to travel over the support (1), such as slides (41 and 42) or wheels, and moved along F1 by thrusting of the user or by propulsion means, in that it possesses a system for extruding the product comprising at least the outlet (5) of the hopper (3), possibly adjustable, and optional constituents promoting the good quality of the deposition such as a partition (6), a flap (7) and/or a spatula (8) and in that it possesses a device, not shown in Figure 1, for carrying out successive discrete depositions, for example vertical mortar joints, principally comprising a retractable shovel.
