The invention proposes the use of polyacrylate plastisols for the surface-coating of plastic floor coverings, in particular made of PVC or PVC foam coverings. The plastisols comprise polymethacrylate or polyacrylate and plasticisers, for example benzyl octyl phthalate or butyl benzyl phthalate, and optionally fillers. The invention furthermore relates to floor coverings whose covering layer is formed from acrylate plastisols of this type.
