Composite material comprising a metal layer and a fibre-reinforced polypropylene layer

Described is a composite material comprising a metal layer and a fibre-reinforced polypropylene layer. The fibre-reinforced polypropylene layer has been crosslinked and - through the choice of the crosslinking factor and also of the fibre content - has a linear thermal expansion coefficient which has been adapted to the linear thermal expansion coefficient of the metal layer. Also described is an adhesion promoter for bonding the fibre-reinforced polypropylene layer to the metal layer.
