The compounds 5,11-dihydro-11-[[(1-methyl-4-piperidinyl)amino]- carbonyl]-6H-dibenzo[b,e]azepin-6-one, 5,11-dihydro-11-[(1-methyl- 4-piperidinyl)acetyl]-6H-dibenzo[b,e]azepin-6-one and 5,11-dihydro- 11-[(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)acetyl]-6H-dibenzo[b,e]azepin-6-one, the enantiomers thereof and the physiologically tolerated acid addition salts thereof are suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic obstructive airway disorders.
