The pallet for moving rolls of material such as carpet comprises two rectangular support plates (6,7) which are connected together at a distance from each other by two connecting tubes (8,9). Each support plate (6,7) has two socket holders (10,11) for the end discs (3,4) of the roll (2). The connecting tubes (8,9) are pref. square tubes and open outwards vertically in the centre in the support plates. USE - The pallet can be handled by a forked lift truck to allow easy movement and stacking of carpet rolls etc.
