The three dimensional chess same is described where stacked horizontal mounted boards are moved individually in and out by electric control to give access to figures on them. A microcomputer or PC guaratees that the rules are adhered to, and a printer or monitor may be coupled in to the system. A second possibility is to play not on a physical board set up but on a three dimensional computer-displayed board. In playing the game, only one king and queen per colour is available, with further kings and queens being replaced by princes and princesses.
