The joint between adjacent building blocks is sealed by a foam sealing strip (3). The sealing strip is folded along a central line (3c) so that a double thickness (3b) fits between adjacent vertical surfaces. The strip is then folded outwards and then upwards on each side to form a seal between the horizontal faces of blocks placed one upon another. A second strip is fitted between the block of the row immediately below, but inverted w.r.t. the strip sealing the joint, of the upper row of blocks. ADVANTAGE - Improved seal with extra moisture-proof effect.
