The arrangement has the manual or electromotor-driven parallel switching shafts (15,25) provided with a profiled cross section and rotating at both ends in bearings (40-43) fixed to the switchgear (1). At one end the shafts have drive levers (14,24) pivoting by 90 degrees and coupled to the switching rods (13,23) of the disconnectors (10,20). At the other end the shafts are connected each to a locking lever (16,26) that has a finger that provides mechanical locking of the other disconnector when one disconnector is in its 'on' position i.e. the two disconnectors switch-on together.
