The clutch regulation system uses a sensor device (55,56) for providing a rotation difference signal for the drive train (22), fed to a regulator for corresponding control of the clutch (21). The regulator (52) compares (51) the actual rotation difference provided by the sensor device (55,56) with a fixed limit value, to adjust the clutch (21) when the latter is exceded, to bring the actual rotation difference below the limit value. Pref. the limit value is obtained from a memory which is addressed in dependence on the detected engine revs and is compared with difference in rotation between the driving and driven shafts to limit the slip to a given max value. ADVANTAGE - Simple drive slip limitation.
