Detachable push-in joint for pipes - with (chlorinated) PVC or socket, lip seal ring and screw cap

A push-in joint for pipes carrying liqs. under pressure at a temp. of up to 100 deg. C includes an injection moulded socket (3) of PVC or PVCC, a lip seal ring (1) and a screw cap (8). The socket has a widened part (2) with a recess for the outer dia. (11) of the seal, which retains the latter by its 1 mm smaller dia. A chamfer (6) ensures an expansion of the seal ring by the pressure of the fluid carried. The cap (8) is made of the same material as the socket or of one with corrosion resistance and a larger E-modulus. ADVANTAGE - This is a low-cost fitting which will withstand the high stresses for over 30 years, is easy to install and raises the functional reliability.
