The sealing ring has a bearing surface (2) curved outside in radial direction. The bearing surface and a lip seal (1) are formed from a soft flexible rubber or plastic material, which is connected with a hard plastic ring (3) made up of polypropylene. The plastic ring is formed wider in the axial direction than the bearing surface. The material of the bearing surface and lip seal is made from a thermoplastic polymer and ethylene propylene diene M-class rubber.
