The seeding machine envisaged by the invention is of the type of that described in the main application, comprising a seeder with several rows and an upstream device for preparing the soil fitted so as to divide the said soil finely by means of working tools. At the rear of each tool, this device comprises an earth-channelling member 19 extending over the working width of the tool and provided with a low notch in the shape of an upturned V for the purpose of producing a ridge of finely divided soil over this width; the distribution members of the seeder comprise ploughshares situated substantially in line with the ridges of the grooves of the said channelling members for the purpose of forming a small groove at the crest of each ridge where the seeds are buried.
