Device consisting of a pivoting or non-pivoting diaphragm concurrent with the axis of the two spheres, one external sphere of radius R.1, the other an internal sphere of radius R.1. In the resulting space two cones C.1 and C.2 are situated on either side of the axis of the spheres, which cones are on the same axis. Radially to the genatrices of the cones there are embedded equidistant and radial blades, which are tangential to the spheres via their ridges. The inclined or non-inclined position of the diaphragm determines two identical top-to-toe cells which the blades can block off by rotating, if the design of the diaphragm allows it. The volume situated between two consecutive blades will pass, for the same cell, from a minimum value to a maximum value, and then vice versa. The principle applies if the diaphragm only determines one cell. This device may be used for transporting a fluid. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for hydraulic pumps and motors with a variable or non-variable flow rate, for rotary internal combustion engines with a continuous cycle, and for rotary compressors.
