This invention allows the function of a casing for a roller shutter to be added to the load-bearing function of a long-lasting treated steel lintel ("CATNIC" type). The device consists of four metal parts cut to size and welded together. They have operation holes and fixing plates allowing the roller shutters to be installed and checked. The lintel can be integral with a metal sub-frame by forming the upper part of it or by being simply slid onto this latter part thanks to two holding lugs. The device is applicable to any type of building and to any type of joinery. IMAGE
