Radiology installation, more especially intended for angiography or angioplasty procedures, comprising a table 1 of at least substantially horizontal general position, on which may rest the body of a patient to be examined, which table is carried by table support means 2 which can be moved and locked using table drive means which incorporate locking, and means for controlling the position of the table; an arch 3, in particular isocentric, supporting at its two ends means 4 for emitting a beam of X-rays and means 5 for receiving the said beam, which are carried by arch support means 6 which can be moved and locked using arch drive means which incorporate locking, and means for controlling the position of the arch; means 7 for storing, processing, visually displaying images, which means are associated with reception means, in particular means for reception by numerical analysis, by virtue of a computer 8; and a computer, associated with the means for controlling the position of the table and of the arch, characterised in that it also comprises calibration means intended to know the magnification and distortion coefficients of the installation, as well as the scale of the images obtained for the relative positions of the table and the emission and reception means, and in that it makes it possible to know, at any moment, the parameters defining the relative positions of the table 1, the emission means 4 and the reception means 5.
