The invention relates to a roof tile structure made of prestressed reinforced concrete and to the formwork for the production of such a tile. The tile structure, comprising a prefabricated body 1 defining a central rib 2 from which symmetrical wings extend, is noteworthy in that the said body 1 has, on the outside, all along the longitudinal direction, a profile dipping towards the ends with a substantially constant slope and, all along a transverse direction, a profile dipping towards the middle part with a slope which is substantially constant and substantially equal over the entire cross-section, and, on the inside, the said rib 2 has a substantially rectilinear profile, the said body being furthermore provided with projecting inertial masses 10 extending longitudinally, in line with the free ends of the said wings 3 over the entire length of the said body 1 and opening out from the said body on the opposite side with respect to the said rib 2.
