Load and test device whose role is, on the one hand, to tap off a small portion of a microwave so as to direct it to a measuring apparatus, and, on the other hand, to form a matched power load. It consists of a segment of waveguide 13, 15, which contains an absorbent material 32 in order to produce this matched load.
