Disclosed are a crystalline complex compound of a propargyl alcohol represented by Formula (I): ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represents a substituent which is different from each other P Pand a tertiary diamine represented by Formula (II): ##STR2## wherein A represents a group having two carbon atoms as a chain member which may be branched; each of R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub. 6 may be the same or different and represents an aralkyl group or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and A, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 may be bonded to each other,PPand a process of separation and purification of the propargyl alcohol using the crystalline complex compound described above.
