PURPOSE:To display both a bilingual picture and incomplete information for correction together and to improve the efficiency of editing operation by opening a display window and generating the picture for correction for the editing in addition to the translation picture. CONSTITUTION:A display part 20 displays the bilingual picture 23 where an original document and its translation are made to correspond to each other on its display screen 21 and an editing person specifies a part 251 to be edited which is displayed on a translation display picture through an input part 10 to edit the part. When the place to be edited is specified from the input part 10, an editing part 40 opens the display window 22 on the translation display picture 25, takes information regarding the specified object point out of a storage part 50 and displays in the correction picture 221 in the display window 22, and corrects the improper part of the translation over a look at the incomplete information. Consequently, the bilingual picture and incomplete information for correction are both displayed and the editing operation efficiency is improved.
