PURPOSE:To miniaturize the above device and to allow it to have multi- gradation by constituting it so that the switch control logic of a driving voltage selection control circuit of a data line can be selected to two ways of the equivalence to decoding input display data as it is and the equivalence to decoding it by inverting it. CONSTITUTION:A data line driving circuit 3 can select the switch control logic of transfer gates TG1 - 8 based on input display data to two ways, that is, a first way is equivalent to decoding the input display data as it is, and a second way is equivalent to decoding the same data by inverting it, based on a level of an AC converting signal, the inverse of RVS. Accordingly, total 16 kinds of driving voltages of positive polarity and negative polarity to the common potential can be outputted through eight pieces of gates TG1 - 8 between eight pieces of driving power source terminals Pvi1 - 8 and an output terminal and the circuit 3 can be miniaturized in respect of the number of switch gates.
