PHANTOM FOR ADJUSTING CROSSING-OVER RELAXATION TIME MRI

摘要

PURPOSE:To adjust the crossing-over relaxation time MRI by using a hydrogel conjugated with and contg. the arom. ring contained much in protein forming a biotissue as a blank material. CONSTITUTION:The hydrogel conjugated with and contg. the arom. ring forming the phantom has the structure in which the arom. ring is conjugated with an ordinary hydrogel constituting high polymer molecule. This hydrogel is obtd. by using a copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing a monomer having the arom. ring, such as, for example, styrene, and a hydrophilic monomer with a hydrophobic monomer or crosslinkable monomer for adjusting a moisture content at need and by hydrating this copolymer. The crossing-over relaxation time of the gel constituting high polymer and the water can be measured by adopting the compsn. conjugated with and contg. the arom. ring in the hydrogel. This compsn. exhibits the behavior similar to the behavior of the living body in the crossing-over relaxation time MRI.
