RETRIAL PROCESSING METHOD AT OCCURRENCE OF TRANSMISSION LINE ERROR IN DATA COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE:To prevent abort of a communication data caused by retrial processing and delay of communication time or the like from taking place by applying data communication between other subsequent equipment and a host device succeedingly in the occurrence of a transmission line error, including a subsequent equipment having had a transmission line error to a succeeding subsequent equipment group after the end of communication and repeating the data communication. CONSTITUTION:Access is stopped immediately with one timeout to a subsequent equipment M having a transmission line error and receiving no connection setting reply and the succeeding subsequent equipment is accessed immediately. Access is implemented at a rate of once per one circulation to the subsequent equipment M and so long as the transmission line error is not restored, the access continues permanently. When a connection setting reply comes from the subsequent equipment M, the transmission of the data not sent is performed from the start sequentially.
