PURPOSE:To obtain a product of unpolished rice having specified quality by regulating and controlling a sieve sorter via a grain sorting controlling circuit so that the detected yield value detected by a yield detector for self-inspection is allowed to coincide with the previously set yield value. CONSTITUTION:In a rice husker A, paddy is husked and sorted by wind and the mixed rice after wind sorting is sorted into unpolished rice and paddy. Further the unpolished rice supplied from the rice husker A is finished and sorted by a sieve sorter B. The unpolished rice for a product which has been finished and sorted by the sieve sorter B is extracted and led to a yield detector 1 for self-detection. The sieve sorter B is regulated and controlled via a grain sorting controlling circuit 2 so that the yield detection value 51 detected by the detector 1 is allowed to coincide with the previously preset yield value S. In other words, the yield detector for self-inspection capable of obtaining the yield value of paddy introduced thereinto is utilized for a final sorting stage in a rice husking plant.
