PURPOSE:To decrease the height over the entire part of the device and to improve thermal efficiency by pouring the molten metal stored in an upright heating up/pouring furnace which is disposed below an inserting/melting furnace having an upright hollow pipe shape and is opened at both top and bottom ends. CONSTITUTION:An ingot 20 of an Al metal is inserted as a coolant from the aperture 3a at the top end of the inserting/melting furnace 3. An induction heating coil 2 is operated to successively melt the ingot 20 from the surface toward the inside to form liquid drops which are allowed to flow down from a through-hole 6a at the bottom end thereof. This molten metal is housed into the heating up/pouring furnace 4 below the furnace 3 and an electromagnetic pump 8 is operated to apply the thrust in a backward direction on this molten metal against the gravity. The molten metal is thus stored. Heaters 5a, 7a are then operated to heat the molten metal in the furnace 4 up to a prescribed temp. The thrust of the electromagnetic pump 8 is turned downward in the same direction as the gravity direction or the pump is stopped and the molten metal is poured from a slit 9a.
