PURPOSE:To efficiently perform analysis work by executing mesh generation with respect to various combinations where a phasic polygon is allowed to correspond to phasic tetragons and evaluating generated mesh forms and adopting the best mesh. CONSTITUTION:A model is generated by CAD or the like. Twig is automatically or manually defined and the model is converted to a phasic polygon consisting of plural Twig. All combinations where this polygon is allowed to correspond to phasic tetragons for correspondence to a square grating required for mesh generation are automatically obtained. Obviously improper combinations of these combinations are decided and excluded. The mesh generation processing is executed with respect to the other combinations, and generated mesh forms are evaluated and are displayed in order from the best. Thus, an analysis engineer only inputs the form of the model and an approximate number of mesh divisions to obtain meshes of good form by the boundary fit method.
