CONTROLLING MECHANISM FOR HULLING AND SELECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To keep amounts of grains in a selecting device tank always at suitable values by controlling shutters and valves of each unit in association with each other to transfer grains always in a state of optimum loads, controlling a hulling and selecting device as a whole. CONSTITUTION:A roll tank shutter SV3 is provided at the lower part of a roll tank 1 and a feed adjusting valve 3 which is opened and closed by a feed rate adjusting means is provided at a position lower than that of the shutter SV3 to feed grains having been hulled and winnowed by means of a hulling and winnowing device 4 into a selecting device tank 2 by means of an elevator 5, in which tank 2 a selection tank upper limit sensor LVS3 and a selection tank lower limit sensor LVS4 are disposed. Control is performed to store always a certain amount of grains in such a manner that, when the level has fallen to a level lower than the sensor LVS4, a selecting machine 6 is stopped, whereas, when the level has risen to a level higher than the sensor LVS3, the valve SV3 is closed, wherein the valve 3 is opened or closed prior to aforesaid control. As a result, the amount of mixed rice in the tank 2 can be always kept at a suitable value.
