PURPOSE:To execute dressing easily and efficiently with a dry method without using water, by sticking a blinding matter to the thermoplastic synthetic resin melted by the friction heat with an electrodeposited diamond saw or electrodeposited diamond wheel and removing it from the electrodeposited diamond saw or electrodeposited diamond wheel. CONSTITUTION:A round bar 4 made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin is cut by an electrodeposited diamond saw 1 or electrodeposited diamond wheel 5 on which clogging is caused, the cutting face of the thermoplastic synthetic resin made round bar 4 is melted by the friction heat with the electrodeposited diamond saw 1 or electrodeposited diamond wheel 5. Then, this molten thermoplastic synthetic resin has an instant solidification property against a rapid heat change and is solidified when the electrodeposited diamond saw 1 or electrodeposited diamond wheel 5 is separated from the synthetic resin made round bar 4. The clogging matter of the electrodeposited diamond saw 1 or electrodeposited diamond wheel 5 is sticked to this thermoplastic synthetic resin solidified body and removed.
