PURPOSE:To provide a sun chasing device having a quite simple and less-expensive structure by a method wherein a Wheatstone bridge is composed of each of resistors which varies in proportion to an amount of accepted light of en optical sensor and when the bridge shows an unbalanced state, an electrical current is applied to a driving motor end a direction sensing part is connected to the driving motor and this is integrally rotated. CONSTITUTION:A light feeding member 5 to which a solar light strikes is operated such that when the light posses in it and strikes against an optical sensor 6A to cause a value of a resistor 5RA to be varied, a Wheatstone bridge 8 becomes an unbalanced state, a potential is varied and an electrical current flows in a control circuit 9. A driving current is fed from a power supply 11 to a driving motor 10 and then the motor is rotated. The rotation of the motor is reduced with gears 24A 24B, a light collecting plate 17 is rotated and a direction sensing pert 1 integrally fixed to the upper plate 19 is also rotated to face against the sun. As the direction sensing part 1 is rotated and a light shielding plate 4 faces against the sun, resulting in that the solar light is not shielded, but light from the sun strikes against light introducing members 5, 5 at both right and left sides. A Wheatstone bridge 8 becomes a balanced state, no electrical current flows in the control circuit 9 and a driving current for the driving motor 10 is shielded and then the motor is stopped.
