OXYGEN FEEDER TO CULTURE POND FOR BENTHOS FISHES AND SHELLFISHES

PURPOSE:To increase the content of oxygen held in water of a culture pond and simultaneously form a gentle water current in the culture pond by jetting water containing oxygen dissolved in a high concentration therein in one direction at the bottom of the culture pond for benthos fishes and shellfishes. CONSTITUTION:Each culture pond 1 for culturing benthos fishes and shellfishes such as crustaceans such as lobster or eel is provided with a water feed pipe line 2 for feeding water thereto with a water feed pump 4. An oxygen feed passage 7 is communicated through a check valve 8 with a water feed pipe 5 near a discharge outlet 6 of the water feed pump 4 and further provided with an oxygen feed unit 9 and an oxygen controlling unit 10. The tip of an oxygen feed pipe 19 constructing the oxygen feed passage 7 is formed into the shape of a nozzle and thrusted into the water feed pipe 5. The water feed pipe line 2 has a sufficiently large pipe line length so as to enable complete dissolving of the fed oxygen in the water and the tip of the water feed pipe 5 thrusted into the culture pond 1 is arranged in a state so as to face the pipe axis to the center of the pond along the bottom wall thereof. Feed water jetting holes 20 are opened at a regular interval on one side thereof.
