PURPOSE: To reduce release of NOx in a flue gas by guiding stepwise acetylene- like gas into combustion zone for re-combustion of NOx in the flue gas. CONSTITUTION: A cetylene-like gas is guided stepwise into a combustion zone, or it is heated in atmosphere plasma as required before introduction for promoting re-combustion, so that release of the NOx in the flue gas is reduced. A nonvolatile synthetic gas which resembles acetylene is MAPP gas and B-Plus. The MAPP gas comprises 66% of methyl asetylene-allene (propadiene) and 34% of butadiene. The B-Plus is propylene in terms of nature. The B-Plus, MAPP, or mixture of them is introduced into a main combustion zone of a coal combustion facility in such range as about 10-100 molecules/each NOx molecule, or the B-Plus or MAPP molecule is heated to 4000 deg.C or above using atmosphere plasma, and then guided into a re-combustion zone or flue for reduced release of NOx.
