METHOD FOR ADJUSTING ELEVATING ANGLE OF PARABOLIC ANTENNA

PURPOSE:To adjust simply the elevating angle of an antenna by fitting a suspending thread of a plumb bob to the position of an elevating angle scale added to an arc shape rear face of the antenna in matching with the designated elevating angle at the installation, suspending the said plumb bob and fixing the angle of the antenna at a position where the suspending thread is in contact with a flange. CONSTITUTION:The azimuth angle of an antenna main body 11 is adjusted by turning a fixed metal fixture 18 in the azimuth angle direction while being fitted to the mast so as to be matched in the designated azimuth angle at the said installation through the use of the earth magnetism. In adjusting the elevating angle, the designated elevating angle at the said installation is selected at first from the added elevating angle scale and name of district 14 given to the arc shape rear face 12 of the antenna main body 11, the suspending thread 16 of the plumb bob 15 is fitted to the location and the said plumb bob 15 is suspended. Then the gradient of the antenna main body 11 is changed gradually to stop the suspending thread 16 to a position in contact with the flange 13. Then the fitting metal fixture 19 is fixed to a fixed metal fixture 18 by a bolt 20 or the like at this position.
